When I have had this problem it is usually because there isn't enough memory
on the computer for JAWS to run with other applications.
Speaking of JAWS, does anyone know an effecient way of finding out if
someone is free when you send them a meeting invitation in Microsofft
Outlook 2010?  Right now the only option I can find is to look at each
calendar of the recipients of the invitations and then send them out.
People who can see can tell if someone is free because when they create the
invitation, a blue bar appears across the top of the screen to indicate that
the person is busy and then there is some kind of option to propose a new
time.  I'm not sure if there is visible text in the  active window for JAWS
to read and it seems that this function is purely visual  I called Freedom
Scientific tech support and they weren't very helpful.  Are there better
options either with JAWS or another screenreader.  I know  WindowEyes has an
interesting front-end to Outlook but I don't know  if it addresses this
issue of  loking at the status of  other Outlook users.
I hope some of you can help.  I ended up having my manager set up the
meeting since she could quickly see if people were free.
