Great observations here!

The problem is, you would have to convince the general public that what you
said was true, and all the time Bill Gates' marketing hype would fight you
because if folks figured out what you were saying, they would understand
that money in Microsoft's pockets was what was really going on!

But, in our economy, money spent is "progress" whether it is building a
building or creating and selling software, welcome to the world of
"progress" where constancy of access is nothing but a dream!
