Isn't Coumadin an anti-coagulant used to dissolve and prevent blood clots? 
Perhaps it's your Dr. who's best to explain in what context he needs to give 
you that. As far as my limited knowledge is-- adverse effect of this drug is 
tendency to hemmorhage, ut depends on dosage also.
