I am new to the list, this is my first posting. I have been on thyroid
medication for almost 10 years, but was just diagnosed as having Hashimoto's
disease last week. Doctors previously had been treating me for what they
thought was Lupus, which it is now confirmed not to be.

I've been on prednisone on and off for almost 9 months, and am now tapering
down slowly. I have two questions:

1) Does the use of Prednisone change the dosage of thyroid medication that
is required? I take Armour thyroid.

2) Can you suggest some good websites on Hashimoto's? I need to read all I
can on it, but would like directed to reliable sources for information.

Thank you for your help!
