Counseling and Computer Technology in the New Millennium--An Internet Delphi
Study Research findings indicate counselors and counselor educators are using a large variety of CRT tools, including word processors, spread sheets, a variety of software programs, e-mail, chatrooms, listservs, databases, and other web-related tools to assist them in over half of job-related tasks today. Experts forecast CRT use by counselors will significantly increase by the year 2008, when professional counselors are expected to utilize CRT for at least 90% of their work-related tasks.

Global Telehealth Resource Center
The demand for "healthcare delivered anywhere", despite prohibitive costs, lack of communications infrastructures, lack of time, and lack of appropriate resources, has prompted The ECU Telemedicine Center to develop the Global Telehealth Resource Center (GTRC). The primary focus of the GTRC is to build working relationships with disaster relief organizations and participating medical professionals through the technical facilities and equipment afforded by the Center

A new e-health report, "The eHealth Landscape: A Terrain Map of Emerging Information and Communication Technologies in Health and Health Care," has been released by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. VivoMetrics of Ventura, California is on the threshold of making remote-monitoring of patients enrolled in clinical drug trials a reality.
