just a brief followup. The article you cited is occasionally
dismissed out-of-hand by veggie advocates. A longer article on
soy that was published in a peer-reviewed scientific journal,
and that cannot be honestly dismissed is:

"Implications of Antinutritional Components in Soybean Foods"
by Irvin E. Liener
"Critical Reviews in Food Science and Nutrition"
Vol. 34, issue 1, pp. 31-68

It is a "science article" :-) and some work to read -- but well
worth the effort. It is heavily referenced: the ref list cites 435
articles, all from peer-reviewed scientific journals.
