Kleinian Studies ejournal - new contents
The following writings have recently been posted to the web site of
the Kleinian Studies ejournal at
http://human-nature.com/ksej/contents.html
Marilyn Charles, 'A "Confusion of Tongues": Difficulties in
Conceptualizing Development in Psychoanalytic Theory'
Keith Haartman, Review. David L. Smith (1999). 'Approaching
Psychoanalysis: An Introductory Course'
Desy Safán-Gerard, 'Destructiveness and Reparation in the Creative
Process: A Retrospective'.
This is a paper given at the Los Angeles Psychoanalytic Institute,
October, 1998 and presented again in Paris and Zurich, March 1999,
and at the 41st IPA Congress in Santiago, Chile, in July 1999. It is
in a format that requires Adobe Acrobat Reader to access. The reader
can be downloaded free of charge at:
http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/main.html
A slide presentation of Dr. Safan-Gerard's paintings accompanied the
presentation of this paper and a video was made of the entire
presentation. This video has been digitalized in several different
formats for different media players. Although the result is dark,
the paintings can be viewed well enough to enhance the understanding
of the paper. If you have a fast internet connection, use one of the
High bandwith files; if you are connected via a modem, select one of
the Low bandwidth files.
Note: To operate these video files, it is first necessary to open
your media player (Real Player, Windows Media or Quicktime) and then
copy the file address you choose from the list below into the
location finder of the media player. It will not work to simply
click on the links below.

The human-nature.com web site has recently been reorganized and
contains a large archive and extensive links of psychoanalytic and
broader interest http://www.human-nature,com

The editors are keen to consider submissions, reflections, reviews or
other materials relevant to a broad understanding of Kleinian and
object relations approaches to psychoanalysis and psychotherapy.
We are glad to consider projects at an early stage of development and
to work with authors in developing their ideas.
Editor: Donald L. Carveth (to whom submissions and correspondence
should be directed)
