As long as you haven't written anything to the same partition on your hard 
drive (which has the effect of overwriting the lost files) try freeware 
PCInspector FileRecovery:

www. pcinspector.de

It comes with quite easy instructions in a separate Help file.

I assume you've already checked Recycle Bin for the deleted items.

Deleted files remain intact on the HD until that space gets overwritten by 
new material.

I'm not sure what this has to to with Trojans.
