In OE5, go to Tools/Options/Maintenance and press the Store button. Press
the Change button and select the new location. This is the setup on my
Windows 2000 installation. If it is not available on your system, you may
need to go to the registry and make the change there. Search for Outlook
Express and look for the current folder location, then change it. Be careful
if you do go to the registry.

To correct a corrupted My Documents folder I created a new folder called "My
Docs" on the C Drive. I can change the save and open default settings in
Word 97 and I can change the default settings for the My Documents icon on
the desktop. How can I change the save default for Outlook express from My
Documents to the new My Docs folder? Thanks, Clarence
