After the user gets the mailbox set up ok, have the user do a File-Exit & Logoff
to ensure that things get saved.
Be aware that this Logoff is NOT logging off Windows but only closes Outlook but
does a better job than
clicking the big 'X'. This method also closes all your open messages, notes,
etc. for you.
I would agree that this should not have to happen and I have not seen this
problem in Outlook98.

Subject: [PCSOFT] Outlook 97 mailbox problem
Hello All,
One of our Outlook 97 users has permission to view another users mailbox.
The problem is that each time she logs on, the additional mailbox is not
displayed and has to be re-added.
This means she has to go into Tools, Services, Microsoft Exchange Server,
Properties, Advanced, Add etc etc
She can view and use the additional mailbox ok once she has added it
Does anyone have an idea why it's not saving the additional mailbox ?
Regards
Laurie
