I have re-formatted my hard drive in the past, but seem to have the same error or problem. I would like to totally erase ALL of the contents of my hard drive, and then do a clean install of Win 98SE, along with some applications (MS Office 97, Quicken 2000, WinFax PRO, PC anywhere, and Norton SystemWorks). How can I be sure that I have ERASED all of the data and settings, to have the equivalent of a new, clean drive? I have tried a "Government Wipe" (launched from Norton's CD), and that did NOT erase everything. Is there a better procedure? Also, I have backed up everything, but am having trouble copying the contents of my contacts folder to a floppy, since it is too large to fit on one floppy. Any suggestions on how to do this? I am using Outlook as my e-mail program, and this is also where my Contacts are located. What is the name of the Contacts file, or what extension should I search for? Thanks in advance.
Jeff
