The Unofficial Netscape FAQ (http://www.sousystems.com/faq/default.htm)
gives the following info regarding being unable to browse to any sites.
First, be sure you are in "Online Work Mode" by going to Edit |
Preferences | Offline and select the top option on that page, called
Online Work Mode. Secondly, if you have (or previously had) a program
called Getright installed, that may also cause problems. Check the link
above for more details on this and a ton of other tips and tricks.
The procedure for setting the default browser is also on the page
mentioned above.
