  Good reminder!  I'd forgotten this was still available...


  I originally heard about this 6-8 months ago, and found that at the
time, I was unable to use it.  My MacBooks are all Intel Core2 based --
the Mac version offered is for the previous PowerPC CPUs.
  And I would have been happy to run the Windows version on a netbook,
but it turns out that when Canon wrote their installer that refuses to
install if they don't think you have enough screen pixels, they were
imitating Adobe's (bad) example....
  Now I've got a 16" ("big screen") laptop, and since most of the
Photoshop techniques I use are things I learned in 6.0 that still work
in CS5 (on my desktop), I expect CS2 to meet my laptop needs nicely.

 free from Adobe.
 There's no better software, but there is a learning curve. There are
 many, many free, excellent tutorials available online.
