Just to clarify a bit: Everyone should be aware that Microsoft NEVER sends
patches via e-mail. There is a hoax/virus going around that claims to be
from MS and contains an attachment. The attachment contains a
virus. Microsoft will send security announcements (like the above), but
they will only contain a link to their site, where the reasons for the
patch and why you need it are explained. You then download and install it
from there.
Never install an executable that is an e-mail attachment that claims to be
from MS. They don't do updates that way.
