I don't know what caused the font problem but to make a long story short, I simply uninstalled WORD and reinstalled. Everything is fine. Thanks to anyone who may have replied to this message.

I have WORD2000. Today after attempting to change a font it remained at Times New Roman. New activity on my system include adding DSL and ZoneAlarm and of course updating Norton.<br><br>WindowXP Home, 512 RAM - anything else you need to know? Appreciate any help.
