I have IE4 installed (IE5 doesn't work with other apps that I have,
so I discovered after installing IE5beta and subsequently
uninstalled it.) Some time after I went back to IE4, I started
getting errors on some webpages saying
"An error has occurred in the script on this page"
Line: 14
Char: 4 (line and char values will vary)
Error: No such interface supported
Do you want to continue running scripts on this page?
(which may or may not work if I say yes)
=============================================
For instance, it happens when I try to access this page:
http://members.tripod.com/A_G_Green_Jr/qualinfo.html
================================
My suspicion is that some program I installed overwrote
a newer version (the program I suspected of doing this
I subsequently removed, but it did not solve the problem.)
I have run scandisks on my disks and that hasn't helped ...
Or perhaps a needed dll became corrupted?
Unfortunately, I've forgotten how to figure out dll
dependencies ... if someone can remind me how to do that,
that will aid in my investigation ...!
Thanks!
K.
