Lynn,

Usually the .DLL file is right in the program folder that's using it, but if
it's a windows file, it ends up in windows or windows \ system. Removing the
file to the recycle bin for a week will not necessarily prove anything - you
might not run the program which requires the file for months. IMHO - a
better solution would be to save it to a floppy disk first, and then delete
it. Then you still have it in the event some program requires it - just make
sure you know where it originally was. HTH
