There is a tool in Windows you can use to see if it will help. Go to
Start-Run and type "sfc" (without the quotes). This will run the System File
Checker. It will scan the system files to see if any are corrupt and will
replace them for you. You will need to have you Operating System disc handy
as it will use it to replace the files that are corrupt.
