Dear listers,
I have an annoying little program that keeps popping up on a Win98se 233mhz
computer. In explorer, it says phone dialer and under that is listed the
file "desire.exe". I've gone to Windows setup and removed DUN and any
dialers listed there. I've deleted the phone dialer sub-directory and the
"desire" file and removed the check next to it in msconfig. I've restarted
and the program re-appears.

This same computer had been infected with W32opserv virus which was removed
using the Norton AV tool. In addition, the small 3 gig HD is suddenly full.
All extraneous programs have been removed. Scandisk shows 199 hidden files
that total over 500 megs. Is there some way to get a list of hidden files
only so I can delete the ones that don't belong? Or would it be best just to
do the "scorched earth" approach?

Thanks in advance,
Kevin Nowicki
