Since I have not seen an answer to your question, I will hazard an educated 
guess.

EXIF is a form of transferring files, usually picture files such as those 
taken on a digital camera.  (Go to www.exif.com to read about exif.)

I **guess**  that one of two things is happening.  Either you are trying to 
run some kind of transfer or manipulation program and when you click on the 
icon on your screen ("shortcut"), the operating system cannot find the 
program, because it is missing or relocated to somewhere else.  Or, the 
operating system or program is looking for the camera or other digital 
medium storage device and it cannot find it because it is not connected or 
the connection does not work for some reason.

Perhaps more details would help someone give better advice.  What are you 
trying to do?  What operating system are you running?  What is the context 
of this message, i.e. when are you getting this message?
