My perennial problem with Fat Fingers Syndrome may be at the root of an in-box mystery that I hope someone here can clarify and propose medical aid.

I'm using Win XP Pro and Outlook Express 8 (I think).  Just lately my in-box, with its list of incoming traffic, has prduced lots of trouble messages, to wit--

Message has not been downloaded

Outlook Express has not yet downloaded the message.

To download this message:

     Click here
      Press space "

This apparent "error message" seems signed by Outlook Express, but no further information is available.  The "here" shows in blue and is underscored as if it were a link.  Clicking, however, does nothing.  Nor dies the space bar --- alas.
