I have a K6-2  450 MHz AMD processer, 64 Meg of RAM, Sound blaster sound card, STB Velocity 128 video card, and a generic PCI 56K modem all running windows 98 SE.  I have a problem whenever I open Internet explorer I can't shut down when done.  I don't even have to get online, can open it up offline with my modem disabled it still gives me the problem.  I have even did a control/alt/del and ended all taskes except explorer and systray and it still gets stuck at the blue screen saying windows is shutting down.  I have been to windows update site and installed all the patches for win98 SE.  I have reinstalled windows over this windows.  I haven't created a new folder and done it yet.  I hope someone else has seen this.
