Hi, I can't help you with Gator and ICQ, but for IM, right click on the tray
icon, select preferences, on the general tag there is a check box for "Start
AIM when Windows starts" Deselect this and that should stop it loading on
start up. I would imagine that the other two have similar ways to stop
loading on start up.

does anyone know how to stop Gator and AOL Instant Messenger and ICQ
NetDetect Agent from loading everytime at startup? I thought I could delete
them from the "Start" menu to stop them from loading but I don't see Gator
or AOL IM or ICQ NetDetect Agent in "Start" menu.
Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks,
