I would make sure there is nothing unfamiliar in my start-up menu,  and also 
go through add/remove programs to be sure there is nothing new or unfamiliar 
there - remove anything suspicious from both areas.  Then run ad-aware, and 
also a good registry cleaner.  Next should be a full virus scan.
