Sounds like a good idea. Give them time to eliminate the bugs.
I suggest you use Maxthon if you are going to stick with IE. It has most
of the benefits and none of the drawbacks of IE7, which still seems to be
only playing catchup. Maxthon browser uses IE6 or 7 as its main engine,
with an overlay of security and many user enhancements (such as tabbed
browsing, zooming, etc) so you get the best of both worlds. Its popup
stopper, in particular, is excellent. And it's free. The other popular
alternative of course is Firefox.

I understand Spybot will pick it up. The genuine file lives in
Windows/System32 folder, the false one will be in another location.
