Sometimes I find that the ScanDisk is annoying, but isn't it safer to run it
after a crash?  If some experienced person would let me know, I'd appreciate it.
 If it isn't really necessary I'll gladly disable it on my own system.

One point:  TweakUI will stop scandisk from running after a crash,
accidental shutdown, power outage, or whatever. Under the boot tab choose -
autorun scandisk - never.  I'm using Win95b, and it works for me every
time.
