I sure  hope someone has run into this problem.

In WordPerfect 9, when I try to insert a graphic (not  ClipArt) I get the
message that the file type is not recognized. That includes  all the typical
formats including .wpg. I'm not having this problem in Word or  OpenOffice, or any
of several graphics programs (PaintShop, Freehand,  PhotoShop).

I'm running a 2GB celeron home brew with 512Mb and  plenty of disk space.
Also tried with no other programs running (except of  course processes). Done
Virus checks, both AVG (resident) and HouseCall. Run  both Ad-Aware and SpyBot
S&D several times. I've done a re-install of WP  Office. Installed all filters,
and, the install seemed to go flawlessly. Same  result.

Any ideas?
