This is not vcache, but virtual memory. Where vcache uses some
real RAM to speed up many disk accesses, virtual memory uses some
disk to hold data from memory that might not be needed just now, so
that applications can be written as if there is lots of memory
(gigabytes) available.
This is why the vcache settings in WIN.INI have no connection to
the "Virtual Memory" settings in Control Panel|System|Performance.
