What do you have in your Task Scheduler?  If it is windows critical update
you can remove it through the add/remove programs in the control panel.
That is what it sounds like if it runs every 5 min.  If you delete the Task
Scheduler it will stay out of the way or you can disable it in your msconfig
files.  If you need more info on this please feel free to e-mail through
this group and I will be glad to give you more info.
