I'm not sure what you meant by the last paragraph.  If you mean that the
files being deleted were no longer used and could be deleted with no
problem, yes, but if you meant that the lines in the autoexec.bat would
send the deleted files to the Recycle Bin, then this will not happen.  When
you delete files from DOS or on a network drive, they are not placed in the
Recycle Bin, they are gone.
