Jim,

I have customized my toolbar with no problems. However, I did manage to lock
up Outlook 98 when there was a CR LF pair (carriage return and line feed
characters) present in a contact memo field. These fields were imported from
other applications at some point. I don't know if this will be of any help
to you. At least you know that customizing the toolbars itself does not
cause problems, and that certain codes in the database do cause a lockup.
