Hello- Re your problem with starting an application in
the maximized mode.  If you have a shortcut to the
application on your desktop, right click and select
"properties".  From the drop down box beside the "Run"
entry box which probably says "Normal", select
"maximized", apply and OK.  From now on your
application will start maximized.  Dianne
