I have a Cicero with Win2k, sp4 & 5. 160gig drive partioned into 4. I now
get a blue screen & stop message when I scan with Avast. By doing each drive separately, I've proven it to be in "C" drive. Midway through the
scan, the blue screen and lockup. I have to pull the plug and to shut down.C dd has all programs, E music, F MP3 & G videos are clean.
The message is- -
STOP:0x00000024 [0x0019025E,0xEB45B50C,0xBFF4E2E5]
addressBFF4E25 base at BFEF3000,
DATE STAMP 3ede6e95-Ntfs.sys
I thought that I had caught the virus, BUT? I scan with Avast and Stinger,
neither gets rid of it. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to get rid of
the problem ?? Many thanks to all. AL SMITH
