I am no computer guru, I just lurk around and read these post's once a day,
but this is one I may be able to help with, Plus let you know somebody is
reading your post.
 If you mean by "hibernate" the, standby mode.  My computer keyboard and
mouse are pretty sensitve in that mode if someone slams the office door or
the like, or a "real mouse",  or the cat,  touch's  the mouse or depresses a
key it will go from standby mode back to full operation.  Maybe I am being
too simplistic but it might prod one of the knowledgeable ones to give you a
better answer. As for correcting the problem I have no idea.
