Hello Olushola,

Assuming your incoming mail is scanned by your anti-virus, click the paper
clip on the right side of the Preview Pane header, then click the attached
Wave file. If a security window appears, click "Open" and the default media
player (not Outlook Express) will play the file. You may need to adjust the
settings on the Security tab in Tools \ Options. You don't have either
Service Pack (SP) 1 or 2 and I don't recall the security settings without
them. With SP2, Outlook Express won't allow you to save or open most
attachments unless you change the security settings.

Caution should be used with any attachment. If in doubt, verify that the
file is from the sender and it is safe to open, then save it to the hard
drive (My Documents?) and scan it with your anti-virus program prior to
opening.

I strongly suggest you install SP2. It's mostly about security but contains
other improvements as well. Afterwards, return to Microsoft or Windows
Update and get all remaining security updates. Additionally, I recommend you
only use one anti-virus program. Using two can cause possible conflicts.
