Are you sure you don't have the whole system as CAB files on your hard
drive? Try going into Control Panel, Add Programs, Windows setup tab and
select a program to install. If Windows installs it without asking for a
setup disc, then the whole of Windows 98 is on your hard drive and can
be reinstalled. The registry knows enough to point to the CAB folders
and not a CD.
