Hi Diane,
I'm personally not a fan of memory management software, or for that matter
WinME. When I run msconfig for clients, I usually uncheck ms office toolbar
and they don't even miss it. it seems to free up some resources. Whether
you should use the quick launch bar or move everything to your desktop is a
matter of personal preference. I often find the less stuff you have on your
desktop, the better. Personally, I would do away with the ME system
entirely and install win2k or xp professional.
