Hello Deb,
When this option no longer appears the cause is either the "sendmail.dll"
file has become corrupted, or the file association has been changed, or
both. Address the Internet Explorer sendmail.dll file first. It is located
in the C: \ WINDOWS \ system32 folder in Windows XP. An easy way to do this
is to go to Start \ Run and type in "C:\WINDOWS\system32", sans quotes, and
press the "Enter" key. The system32 folder will open with the files viewed
by type. Scroll right to find the "sendmail.dll" file and select it. With
the file selected, go to File / Move To Folder... and in the window that
appears, select "My Documents" and click the "Move" button. The file will be
moved and Windows will immediately replace it with a new one. Close the
system32 folder.
Return to My pictures and attempt to send a photo as before. If the problem
was a corrupted file, you should have the resizing options back. If not,
then the file association was probably changed by a photo editor or program
pre-installed on the Desktop. To fix the association problem, click Start,
Run and type "regsvr32 shimgvw.dll", sans quotes, in the text box and press
"Enter". Note the space between the "2" and the "s". Restart the computer
and the resizing options should again be available.

Subject: [PCSOFT] My Pictures and Outlook Express
With the changes, hopefully I'm sending to the right place! If you remember
I am a librarian who seems to answer quite a few computer questions for
patrons (if I can) who come in . This one has me stumped. Can anyone help?
It seems like it must be an options set up problem, but I've looked at the
options and can't see one that fits. Thanks. Deb Blanchard
"I purchased a new desktop computer with Windows XP home edition. I have a
laptop PC with Windows XP home edition as well. I use Outlook Express on
both. My question is with my laptop I can open a folder that has photos in
it (My Pictures) and then I can right click on a thumbnail and click on
(Send to) and then (mail recipient). Then a small window that says (Send
Pictures via E-mail) pops up that now gives me the choice of sending the
image in its original size or I can send a small size. My new desktop does
not have this little window in it that gives me a choice, it sends it in its
original size. Any ideas as to why this is?"
