On Machine2 is file sharing enabled? It isn't listed. Also, I had a similar
problem in viewing the network until I assigned IP addresses to each machine.
Do you have a subnet mask with assigned IP's? Give it a try. It worked for
me and I was even able to see the printers I have attached to each machine.
