hiya list ,
 here it goes , i had a friend who had a win98 machine with office 2000 on
it, the machine was replaced with a new windows XP machine and office
2000was installed, i copied his documents on to it and he also accesses
documents from a shared drive on a network along with ten other people, the
problem is when he opens a document either on the network or the local
machine he gets a message saying that the certain document is alredy in use
or opened already by himself and would he like to make a copy, this is
getting very frustrating to him and was hoping somebody knows a solution to
this.
