I recently uninstalled a program I believe it was a cybermedia program
such as unistaller or First Aid 97, using the windows explorer to do the

deed. I realize I should have used unintall programs from the control
panel, but alas, it is too late. Now I get a message on startup (that
stops the boot process until I click anykey). This message informs me
that certain files that are needed to run an application or windows are
missing and that the system.ini and/or system registry refers to these
files, but cannot find them. So, it continues, either reinstall the
program, or the entries in sys.ini or the registry. Since I no longer
have the program to reinstall, and cannot find any reference to it
anywhere, how can I get the annoying messages off my screen!!! I have
friends who have multiple messages of the same kind. HELP!!!

Thanks,

Reverend Bill Jacobs
