I've been using Arrow Mailer for WIndows for a little while, it works very
well, and can work with a standard POP3 mailbox. It automatically does
digests, has a variety of filtering options and - as I understand it -
works w/mailing lists of up to a few thousand subscribers. More info (and a
trial download, registration is - I believe - ~ $30) is available from the
writer - Roger Smith Software - at:
http://www.jadebox.com/arrow/
I installed it without any problems on my Pentium II-233 Mhz machine.
There's also a mailing list run by the writer where he answers questions &
provides support.
