Well, Internet Explorer is a "single document interface" (SDI) application -
which means it opens each file, or document, in its own application window.
Opening several documents in the same window using Internet Explorer is not
possible, as far as I know.

If you are looking for a "multiple document interface" (MDI) web browser you
could download Opera. Here is the URL http://www.opera.com/ (it's free if
you accept some ads).
