I have found out that running the Calculator by pressing Start button,
selecting Run..., typing calc and pressing Enter or clicking OK is a
faster way. Try it out.

If the calculator refuses to run in the abovementioned way, find a PC with
Windows 95 or 98 on it (it should not be too difficult, I think) and copy
the calc.exe file onto your computer. It resides in C:\WINDOWS or
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM, as I recall.

If it runs, or after you have copied it from another PC, then you must
restore the shortcut. Open the Programs menu (right-click on the Start
button, select Open...), go to Programs/Accessories, create a new shortcut
to the calc program.
