Hello.

Setting an Image from your Netscape browser to become part of your desktop
wallpaper is a standard feature of Netscape Navigator.

Looking at the fact that you are using a P75, I suspect that you may have
been doing a couple of tasks simultaneously, and may have accidentally
'right clicked' on an image within a web page. Right clicking on an image
usually gives options tha pertain to properties of the image, such as save
image as, view image in new window, etc....in this case ( as I have done in
the past) you may have clicked quickly upon it and the computer, trying to
keep pace with what you are doing , buffered in a right click from your
mouse and interpreted it as "save image as wallpaper" thereby converting an
image you saw on the page to a desktop wallpaper.

I used to do this all the time on my friends' computers, putting images on
their desktops and surprising them with it.

I am not sure how to remove it, but you can choose 'none' in your display
properties under the background tab. Just choose 'none' in the select
options for desktop .
