I had remembered seeing a software package at seagate's site, but now
they've sold off their software division to a subsiduary called Veritas. I
did some digging and I came up with:
http://web1.hro.veritas.com/products/be98/index.html for Veritas Backup
Exec, which supports CD-R (and many more media types)for win95 and win98.

I don't but what I do is use the Win95 backup to make the backup which
I keep on the hard drive for easy access to check/restore
corrupted/copied over files. But I also burn a copy of it into a CD-R.
The downside is that you have to copy the backup back to the original
Drive (same letter) that it was originally put on in order to restore
it. Also, if it is larger than will fit on a CD-R, you have to break up
the files into 2 or more backups.
Know this does not answer you question but if you do not get a solution
(been looking for one myself), maybe this work around will help.

Does anybody know of a backup utility (and name) out there that works
with CDR burner. I have a mitsumi 4x8 cdr, now looking for backup
software.
