Doug,

        Thanks for your reply.  I was able to locate the section in my control.ini
to which you referred me.  Unfortunately I've not been able to correct the
problem.  A posting to another newsgroup has yet to garner a response.  I'll
post the answer here if and when I get it unless someone beats me to it (I
hope!).

Brian, I'll give it a shot.  MMCPL has to do with your MultiMedia Settings
in the Control Panel. If I were you I would look in Control.ini (in windows
directory) and see if any strange things are under the [MMCPL] section. Some
programs (especially the MS Natural Keyboard) will not properly uninstall
settings under [MMCPL] Section.  You may have a specified file
there that is no longer on your machine.
