When the infected computer that has your email address has been cleaned, the cycle should end. However, if another
infected machine chooses your email address, you'll probably start getting the bounced messages and / or virus
infected email again. I put up with the "bounced email" problem for about two months, then it stopped.

You don't have to change your email address unless the emails are really bothersome. (I didn't change mine).
Besides, changing your email address will only work until another infected PC chooses your new address - which may
or may not happen. Continue deleting the messages and keep your antivirus up to date. This problem would be far
greater if the virus chose all the addresses in a given address book, rather than a random few. hth

Could someone tell me if this cycle will ever end without changing my email
address? I am deleting all the messages concerning the virus without opening
them. Will that help at all? What happens to those of us that can't change
their email addresses?

Thank you,
Susan Hays
