Thank you for this. Unfortunately, it did not work but when I tinkered
around I found the solution. So thanks to all who offered advise.
My solution:
1) Select the cells in the table I want tobew a lighter shade of color.
2) Select Format, Borders and Shading.
3) Under Patterns: Style, select the percenatge I want such as 20-or 25%
4) Then, under Color, pick the color I want.
5) My cells will then be changed to the shade of that color I want.
I'm sorry for being so unclear with this and thank you to all who helped.
