Hi,

Many thanks to Tom and the others whose helpful advice solved my problem with the old Win95 game apparently being incompatible with WinXP.
As suggested, it was a matter of going to the Setup file of the game and changing the compatibility so that Win95 was compatible. The game then installed and opened; although at first the curser would not open it completely, after a few tries it gave in and opened the game for playing.
Even better, I have learned some new angles on handling my computer.

Ron

If I remember correctly, I believe the message is a warning and you can
select to install the program regardless of the warning. After that, as
I mentioned in my previous response, you can set the compatibility for
the program.
